No one likes to have their data misused or shared without their consent. We understand that, and we take your data and privacy very seriously.
What data do we collect?
When you use the Rubber Bands app, we collect the following data:
Anonymous usage: No workout-specific data is collected; only general usage statistics are collected.
Connected Apps: If you choose to connect your Rubber Bands account to a third-party service, such as Apple Fitness, Fitbit, or Strava, we will collect data from those services to provide you with a seamless experience. Remember, you have full control over this process.
Weight, sex, height, and age: This information calculates your basal metabolic rate (BMR) and provides personalized workout recommendations. This data NEVER leaves your device.
Anonymous crash and performance information: To ensure Rubber Bands runs well, crash data is reported to address the underlying cause. Similarly, the performance of the application is also monitored to ensure performant operations
You don't need to create an account to use Rubber Bands, and your workouts are saved locally on your device, so there's no server to be compromised.
