Apple Watch

Your workout, on your wrist.

Start a workout on your iPhone and the watch takes it from there: log sets, turn the Digital Crown to adjust reps, pick bands, and run timed holds. Your phone can stay in your pocket between sets.

Live heart rate

A real workout session records heart rate continuously and earns Activity-ring credit, saved to Apple Health.

Digital Crown logging

Scroll to the rep count you actually hit, tap Log Set, move on. Supersets, warm-ups and AMRAP sets are all marked.

Rest timer chip

The countdown follows you on-wrist, with haptic ticks in the final seconds of timed exercises.

Finish from the wrist

Rate how hard it felt 1–10 and save. The effort rating feeds back into how your next workout is generated.

Progression

It knows when you're ready for more.

An adaptive progression engine analyzes every set you log. Outlier reps are dampened, consistency is scored across sessions, and resistance advances only when the data says you're ready: the smallest viable band jump, with reps rescaled to the exact tension increase.

Activity dashboard: 15 workouts, 57 sets and the workout trend chart

No flukes

One great AMRAP set doesn't trigger a jump. Progression waits for consistency across sessions, and outlier sets are dampened instead of skewing the plan.

Warm-ups, built in

Compound lifts get an automatic warm-up set at roughly half your working resistance with extra reps, added only once the app knows your working bands.

Workouts that push back

AMRAP finishers, auto-supersets pairing opposing muscle groups, and rest timers tuned to your goal keep sessions honest.

Your training, your rules

Point the engine at what matters to you.

Focus Exercises

Flag any exercise and it's guaranteed a spot in your generated workouts for a four-week cycle, slotted in where it best matches the day's target muscles.

Gym Profiles

Home, travel, hotel. Each profile knows its bands, anchors and bars, and workouts regenerate to fit whatever you have with you.

Video for your setup

150+ demo videos across 74 exercises, filmed per variant, so you see the movement with the same equipment you're holding.

Connected

Plays well with your fitness stack.

Finish a workout and it's everywhere you track: Apple Health with calories, Strava with a full set-by-set description, and Health Connect on Android with per-exercise segments.

Apple Health

Workouts and calories written automatically, with live heart rate when you finish from the watch.

Strava

Posts a WeightTraining activity with volume, sets, reps and a per-exercise breakdown.

Health Connect

Android sessions include typed per-exercise segments and calories.

From our users

Strength that meets you where you are.

“I'm a cancer survivor. Surgeries, chemo and medications have affected mobility and joint comfort. I settled on bands as a joint-friendly alternative with a lower dread factor… I could not have fathomed an app specifically dedicated to bands with such a brilliant and thoughtful design. Thank you for making it adaptable to all levels and abilities.”

App user

“I just got my bone density scan results back and my lumbar spine density increased by 4%. It had been declining since I started hormone medication. I've been working out with the app 2–3 times a week. I was completely shocked, in a very good way.”

Individual experience, not medical advice

“I love the app and have been using it to figure out the switch from working out in a gym to working out at home.”

App user

“Still loving the app. Really solid, and I've had no need for another since using it.”

App user, one year in

“I'm two weeks in and it's really helped me keep my motivation and progress moving forward.”

New app user

“I have been wanting to add bands as part of my strength routine for a while, and this app is such a great resource.”

App user

“Your app is perfect for our patients and clients.”

Healthcare professional

“One of the best workout apps I have ever used. Well thought out and pretty intuitive. Hands down the best app for resistance bands on the market. None of the other apps account so well for the different bands.”

App user

“This is everything I was looking for in an app, and that's rare after trying hundreds of apps. The very fact I can paste the link of the bands I bought and have them added automatically was very impressive.”

App user

“The app is very good. I'm just starting out and it's a lot of fun and worth every penny.”

App user, just starting out

“Love the app, still getting used to it, but it seems you've thought of pretty much everything. Looking forward to progressing with it.”

Questions

Before you start.

Does Rubber Bands work with the bands I already own?
Yes. The app is brand-agnostic and ships catalogs for Serious Steel, X3®, Undersun, Rogue, Bodylastics, Clench, RubberBanditz and more. You can also add fully custom bands with their resistance ranges. Workouts are generated around the equipment you actually have.
How does automatic progression work?
The app looks at your last three sessions for each exercise. When your reps are consistent and trending up, it adds a rep. When you master the top of your rep range, it moves you to the next heavier band, preferring the smallest possible jump, including stacked combinations, and scales your reps down in proportion to the tension increase.
What does the Apple Watch app do?
It mirrors the workout running on your iPhone: log sets from your wrist, adjust reps with the Digital Crown, pick bands, run timed exercises, and watch the rest timer, all while recording live heart rate to Apple Health through a real workout session that closes your Activity rings.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Your workouts, logs and progress live in a local database on your phone. Only optional extras like AI workout generation, the Loop assistant, and pushing workouts to Strava need a connection.
Is my data private?
Your training data stays on your device. There is no account to create, and you can export a CSV of everything at any time.
Is there a free version?
Yes. The Habit Starter program is free forever, and you can try full workouts before subscribing. Rubber Bands Pro unlocks unlimited workouts with automatic progression, AI workout generation, and advanced tracking.
